Those who are in good health and are looking to stay active while on vacation should consider a visit to the Tierra del Fuego National Park in Argentina. This southern wilderness is one of the most remote destinations in the world, giving tourists a great opportunity to absorb the area's natural beauty in peace.

The park, which is situated near the southernmost city of Ushuaia, spans more than 156,000 acres and has a wide variety of landscapes within its borders. A trek through the countryside will afford visitors the chance to see gorgeous beaches, majestic mountains, lush forests and more.

Many people enjoy hiking through the park, as there are a number of trails for travelers of all experience levels. With most paths measuring under a mile, visitors young and old can enjoy some of the most scenic views in Argentina. There are also longer trails available for those who want a more challenging journey through the park.

Other great ways to spend the day at Tierra del Fuego include going on a fishing trip, rock climbing and kayaking through the bay.
