Dahn means energy and Yoga means union of body and mind.  The energy is a medium to bridge body and mind. According to Dahn Yoga, Dahnjon is the center of energy circulation in the body. Jon means farm or repository. According to Ilchi Lee, we have a total of seven Dahnjons in the body. Three of them are internal Dahnjons and the other four are external ones. The internal three are called upper Dahnjon, middle Dahnjon and lower Dahnjon. When we refer to Dahnjon, most likely it means the lower one.

Lower Dahnjon controls physical energy. It is located two inches below the navel and two inches inside the body. The heart is to the center of blood circulation, the Dahnjon is the center of energy circulation. When one has lots of hot energy there, she feels literally energetic and strong. Naturally her personality changes to be passionate and proactive. From the chakra’s point of view, the color of this center is red. This controls physical energy, sexual energy and digestive energy.
