Sunday at Harbor Steps!!

rainbow8 on Jan 28th 2008

We had a blast to start the year off this month at Harbor Steps. Yesterday (January 27th). Healers, pre-healers, pre-sabumnims and myungsanims came for the Tao Fellowship Training led by Master Han. As you know his trainings have always been a very awakening experience! Then we had the YEHA/Phoenix Project training following and DahnMuDo practice afterward with Master Oh.

We also started the YEHA/Phoenix Project Silent Auction. Check out some very interesting, unique items on display at our Harbor Steps center donated by some of the Masters, Myungsas and Healers.

Have a beautiful day with our Winter Wonderland!

Love,
Delia

Let’s Keep Creating More Miracles

rainbow8 on Jan 28th 2008

Hi My HS beautiful fellows,

I hope all of you are doing well with your training. I had some major myunghyun as part of the growth process and forgive me for not having posted a while. I have completed my 2nd 21day fulfilling the same goal from the first (although, I registered only last week online and so it is my 6th day online). If you have your gift certificates, please register by typing in your code to fully utilize the information online. There’s just so many valuable information that will help us with our goals and in overcoming our habits.

I will continue to fulfill my 1st goal (spiritual-connecting with my True/HigherSelf), will keep trying with my 2nd goal(physical-to be hydrated) and will start a 3rd one (be more organized, so I can be more of service).

I trust you are all doing well with yours and have been benefitting and having fun at the same time in fulfilling your goals.

For those who would like to join us and experience becoming more aware of yourself on a deeper level and is getting ready for exciting changes in your lives, please ask any of the staff at Harbor Steps and we will be so happy to help you get started with your adventure. Please visit ilchi.com online and you will see us there (Harbor Steps Group) with all the other Groups from Dahncenters statewide and we hope to see you, too.

The Lunar Chinese New Year of the Rat is upcoming and is another chance to start the New Year to create new goals and New Year’s resolutions.

See you again, next time. Let’s keep going and developing and creating our beautiful Selves.

Have a Wonderful Year!

Love yah…

New Year’s Celebration

opus on Jan 10th 2008

This is a Dahn Mu Do demonstration.  I can really feel her power and energy connection through her movements.  She gave this demonstration on New Year’s Eve at the year end American Dahn (instructor) meeting in the Sedona Ilchi Meditation Center.  I will post a few more videos from that meeting later.

SEATTLE PHOENIX PROJECT!!!

hwarangphoenix on Jan 8th 2008

The Phoenix Project is a deep experiental Leadership Training/Internship taking place in Seattle with many other passionate young people from across the world to develop themselves through skills of yoga, martial arts, meditation, and other mind/body holistic healing exercises. The Phoenix Project is a national initiative to empower the youth generation and communities through holistic self-development, leadership, and service. The project rests on one simple principle: in our bodies and minds, we have the power and energy to create the lives and world we seek.

In this way everyday of the Phoenix Project is spent: training and cultivating a sense of power, passion and purpose through Dahn Yoga, Martial Arts, and meditation, and then applying that energy through community outreach to make a real and vital change in the world. This is really an amazing way to develop yourself deeply and confidently training yourself to be strong inside and out. Part of the project is also engaging with the world through awesome community outreach projects like teaching refugee children yoga or helping pregnant mothers relax and breathe and learning to work with non-profits. All the while developing skills of which you can apply to enhance your everyday life and relationships and well being.

If you choose you can apply your hands on training to enhance your abilities of instructing yoga or tai chi classes throughout our network of over 350 holistic health centers worldwide (www.dahnyoga.com) This is a way to deeply enrich yourself and those around you and strengthening your connection to healing society and the earth. After completing this training it is possible to  connect to further training or employment and develop your skills in a diverse healing community including one of the 5 Holistic Centers in Seattle or elsewhere to further develop teaching or managing in the holistic healing arts or take advantage of one of our many opportunities with community outreach projects and non-profits locally. Of course your bright healing energy and passion will naturally increase your own stress reduction and self care as well as work and home environment with increased focus, patience, and care for others, really there are many infinite positive aspects to be shared from this experience which enhance any lifestyle.

There are 2 Phoenix Project winter internship opportunities in January 14-25 and Feb 2-13 (they are packed full of fun and deep training). *We have worked very hard with the help of numerous individuals and organizations to create this training in Seattle and to make is accessible to those who really wan to know and develop themselves inside and out.  Currently we are partnering with City Year, Starbucks, and other groups to spread this style of genuine leadership and self development.

I encourage anyone out there who wants to go deeper within themselves to find true joy and satisfaction from the heart and create your dreams of healing yourself and others to contact us or get involved.   Good luck, you are the hope!^^________^^

21-Day Miracle Certificates by January 7th, 2008

rainbow8 on Jan 4th 2008

Dear Harbor Steps members and Dahn practitioners,

How have you been!? HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I am dropping by to share with you about what has been one of the highlights at Dahnyoga centers these days.. As you know the next term for the 21day Miracle training will start on the 7th of January (very soooon) and the deadline to buy your certificates will be by the 7th as you need to type in a code for access to special areas in the website -ilchi.com-

I had my resistance before I joined this currently going on term– you know, things like too busy with the upcoming holidays and work, work, work..no time to log on to the internet..my place needs decluttering.. how am i going to survive with another thing added to my list to do…i can’t think of anything to change…etc..etc..

Guess what, with Master Soo’s coaching (thanks, Master Soo) I signed up for it and nearing now to the end of the 21day. My usual busy schedule hasn’t changed, but because I incorporated a habit/goal which would actually take only less than an hour of my time a day, I am able to look at the same old stuffs of busyness in a much lighter disposition. With the conscious plan of setting one’s goals and putting them into action make so much difference in how to specifically direct one’s focus and energy. If one sets or commits to do something, your brain would actually and fully work to accomplish the goal. One member I admired so much was her discipline to stay away from sugar for 50 days, I found that remarkable!

Other examples are:
-doing 50 push-ups everyday and 150 by the end of 21days
-drinking 8 glasses of water everyday
-no chocolate for 21 days
-become vegetarian for 21 days
-saying only positive things
-go to bed before midnight and wake up early by 6am
-will not drink coffee or go to Starbucks
-quit smoking
-walk the dog everyday
-loose weight
-do sleeping tiger for 10 minutes a day and up to 30minutes by the end of 21day
-be on time with all my appointments
-no watching tv
(anything else you can think of to what you would like to change–quoting from one of the wisest ever lived on Earth,
“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” Mahatma Ghandi. Dr. Ilchi Lee in this generation is helping us to put this into action by creating the 21day Miracle as it takes about 21 days to break a habit.)

With the 21day Miracle, one can get support from groups online, from others who may also be working on the same goals as you or getting rid of similar unpleasant habits. We also plan on having our own meeting at the center (we will keep you posted on this one).

Please visit Ilchi.com, click on Groups, then type in Harbor Steps, click Harbor Steps and you will see us there, the members who have already joined in. The sharings from everyone, not just from our Harbor Steps group, but also from Kirkland Center and from other groups statewide have been inspiring. The website has so many valuable informations directly from Dr. Ilchi Lee himself.

Also, please visit www.dahnyogawashington.com for more information on what is going on (blogs) about the 21-day Miracle and about our dahn practice in the Washington area and from dahn centers statewide.

For added bonus, we will give you an aura reading with your $21 certificate. Isn’t that a wonderful deal!!!! If you wish to obtain certificates, you may email me (yogamudo@aol.com) or drop by at Harbor Steps center or your local centers by January 7th…Gampsahamnida…

Let’s keep growing and improving ourselves for the year 2008!

The Harbor Steps staffs and I wish you all the best of great health, lots of luck, blessings and prosperity!

Love,
DeliaMSN
